Linked Operations

For manufacturers who already have the systems
and still do half the work by hand

AI for manufacturers, set up by a manufacturer.

About 25 years in manufacturing, including a decade running a machine shop. I help manufacturers implement AI, automate the work that repeats, and cut down the errors, with small focused builds that run on top of the systems you already have. Michigan based.

Most manufacturers I talk to already have decent systems for production, purchasing, accounting and quality. The expensive problems are not inside any one of them. They are in the handoffs between them, and in the manual work nobody ever had time to build a system for.

A vendor PO that never came back acknowledged. Hours spent pulling reports into a spreadsheet by hand. Thirty years of know how that walks out the door when someone retires. That is the work I do, and the first conversation is free.

Free, about 30 minutes, no slide deck. If it turns out I am not the right answer for your operation, I will say so on the call.

What this is

AI that knows your operation. Set up around how your business actually runs and loaded with your own procedures and know how, so it is genuinely useful instead of a generic chatbot that starts from scratch every morning.

Workflows that run without anyone driving them. This is where the time comes back. Every operation has office work that repeats forever and that nobody ever designed a system for: order entry re-keyed from an email, folders built by hand, files renamed and filed, vendor acknowledgments chased down, the same report pulled every Monday. Software can do those steps and come back to a person only when something needs a judgment call.

Small builds where the work has to come out exact. When a number has to be right every single time, or a record has to land in the ERP clean, that gets built properly with real engineering around it rather than trusted to a chatbot.

I pick the level that fits, and never more than the job needs. Some operations need a light setup and nothing built at all. Some need one small tool. We find out which before anyone spends money on a build.

We start by finding where your time and money are actually leaking, then build the one or two things that pay for themselves first.

Things I have actually built

These run daily inside a real precision manufacturing operation. Not slideware.

When I am not the right answer

Three situations where I will tell you no, usually on the first call:

Controlled work is not on that list. If you do defense, ITAR, CUI or CMMC work, this runs inside the compliance boundary you already operate in. That changes how it gets set up, not whether it can be done.

How it works

A paid diagnostic first. You document how your processes really run, and I evaluate whether AI, a small build, or nothing at all is the honest answer. If there is something worth building, it is quoted up front with no hourly meter. I host it and run it, and there is an ongoing plan by agreement to keep it running and improving.
